Middle School students are eligible to participate in the NJSCA Middle School Awards, which are held annually at the NJSCA Awards Dinner in June.
Three winners will receive a plaque and a $500 savings bond each. Middle Students whose COUNSELORS ARE A MEMBER OF NJSCA may submit an essay on the following topic: “My hopes and dreams for the future and how my school counselor will help me achieve them.” Essays may be hand-written or typed, and should not exceed two pages. Students should use the cover sheet provided in this newsletter when submitting their essays.
The school counselor of the essay writer must be a current member of NJSCA. No essays will be considered without the counselor’s membership in NJSCA. Essays received where the counselor is not a member of NJSCA will be discarded. Students must be a student at a NEW JERSEY MIDDLE SCHOOL. Students in elementary school are not eligible. High school students have a separate essay contest. Essays are due on or before March 15.
