NJSCA Summer College Bus Tour July 2017:  "Stayin in Jersey"

Affordable college opportunities right here in New Jersey! This is what twenty-eight school counselors learned as they participated in the 2017 NJSCA Summer College Bus Tour.

On July 10th, the school counselors began their tour of eight NJ state colleges and universities including:

The tour included a variety of familiar college campuses that have been updated by numerous state-of-the-art infrastructures and innovative programming.

In addition to information sessions and campus tours, school counselors relaxed and connected with colleagues during sponsored lunches and dinners at the colleges. Some highlights included a tour of Liberty Hall on the Kean campus and a midway break by NJCU at their harbor-side campus with a reception and dinner overlooking the Hudson River and NY skyline.

From the mountains of Ramapo to the city campus of Rutgers where a revitalization of Camden is in process, school counselors experienced three days of learning, collegiality, and fun! Thanks to all who participated and thank you to Carmine Venes, Summer College Bus Tour Coordinator, for making this an unforgettable experience!
